The R2 Aerial Incendiary Device is an earlier model of our Aerial Incendiary Devices. Of this, there were two series; the MkI and the MkII. Both these systems are now out of production.

The MkI was a run of 13 devices and the first Aerial Incendiary device to be manufactured by Raindance Systems. These devices were effectively hand built and used as the platform for developing our later systems. The majority of these devices have withstood the test of time and are still in use today.

The MkII was the second generation and a production run of 30 was manufactured. These devices are commonly used throughout Australia, South Africa, Chile and the U.S. and still very much in demand. Both these devices where limited to 85 Caps/min. Even though these devices are now out of production, they are both still supported and serviced in our Canning Vale manufacturing facility. If you require servicing or parts (please bear in mind that certain parts for these machines will have to be fabricated as one-offs and as such, will incur extra cost), please contact us through the Contact page.

OUR PRODUCTS

Aerial Incendiary Systems designed for the harshest environments in the world.

Incendiary Devices

For over 20 years Raindance Systems have been developing Aerial Incendiary Devices. Our current systems are the R3 and R4 Incendiary Devices and they offer many improvements over previous systems, making them the most advanced systems available in the world for use in preventative fire and ecological management, as well as backburning. All our systems are used in a wide range of diverse environments to suit most requirements and operations.

Capsules

Our Incendiary Capsule system is unique in many ways. We make all our Incendiary Capsules in-house, ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Each box of Incendiary Capsules contains 1000 incendiaries joined together into a Capsule Belt. This results in a compact box (300mm x 300mm x 150mm or 12” x 12” x 6” for R3 Incendairy Boxes), weighing only 2.2kg (4.8lb).
